SkyGeo announces plans to expand to Asia Pacific

SkyGeo expands to Asia Pacific.

Houston, Texas, Nov 15, 2019, SkyGeo, the premier InSAR partner of choice of customers in Europe and North America, announced their strategic plan to open a new office in Singapore which will strengthen the company’s partnerships with companies and governments in the Asia Pacific markets. This global expansion positions SkyGeo as the first and only InSAR company with a presence in North America, Europe and APAC.

“The decision to expand into Asia Pacific was a logical step in our business growth strategy,” said Pieter Bas Leezenberg, CEO, SkyGeo. “Some of the most complicated displacement and displacement areas in the world are in these regions and it’s critical that we work with clients where they live to service them most effectively.”

As the industry’s leading space based displacement monitoring company, and by far the largest and fastest-growing InSAR only company in the world, SkyGeo’s goal is to empower asset managers globally to take control of their assets through monitoring platforms. Government organisations all over the world rely on analyses done by SkyGeo’s InSAR experts. The company counts some of the world’s largest and most demanding organizations, including Shell and ExxonMobil as customers.

“Thanks to our future presence in Singapore, SkyGeo will establish even closer ties with our APAC clients and is better positioned to introduce our monitoring service to clients throughout the region. Sea level rise and climate related issues are a huge challenge for any area in Asia Pacific. By using SkyGeo data in their models new strategies can be evolved,” said Hanno Maljaars, Engineering Manager and Director Asia Pacific.
